So last night was pretty cool.  We did an Acoustic Sunset unplugged show at Rev.  All the regulars showed up and we all really had a blast.  I kind of hate labeling our Wednesday night jam sessions as "Open Mic" because it's really nothing like any open mic around.  We are really open to all types of music, we're all very friendly, and the actual set up for the night is laid back.  The night usually ends with an all out jam session with more people with instruments in their hands than people without.  For me, playing my originals and having people just come up and start playing along and harmonizing with me...  it's really something.  I can be in the worst mood ever, show up and by the end of the night, I'm all smiles.  To me, Rev is its own community which I'm so happy to be apart of.  The most eclectic and amazing people come out of the woodwork of Atlanta and show up at this little place.  I truly feel like a better person for having met such a variety of people, all with their own contributions to our little community.  As a side note, we are having a Rev Party on Saturday, August 9th.  I'll list more details as we draw closer to the date.  Also remember to support Shay by running by and taking advantage of good coffee, yummy food, and a great atmosphere that is Rev.  Hope to see ya'll soon!
